Welcome

Welcome to the Wake County Autism Society (WCAS)! We offer support and events for Wake County families and individuals affected by an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Wake County Autism Society (WCAS) is often confused with the Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC), also headquartered in Wake County. We are separate organizations with different missions:

•ASNC works toward increasing autism awareness statewide. For details, visit the ASNC website.

WCAS offers a number of support options for Wake County residents affected by an ASD. Visit our About WCAS page for more information about us.

If your child has been recently diagnosed or if you are new to our area, please visit our Support Groups page and the Events Calendar to find a group and its meeting times and locations that will help you.

For instant support and information on any variety of of Autism topics concerning our area, Join our Yahoo E-Group. With a network of over 500+ families, you will be instantly plugged into our community.
