Provides case management, parent training and resource assistance. Assists families in finding child care placements; Facilitates the development of children with disabilites in typical child care settings; provides therapy, training and service support for people with brain injury, assists individuals with selecting and securing jobs in the community. Exceptional Children's Assistance Center (ECAC) Supports exceptional children by being commited to improving their lives and education. Encourages parents to become active partners with professions in order to obtain needed services for their children. It is a state-wide program that highlights issues and programs in early childhood inclusion. Tammy Lynn Center Helps reduce family stress by providing temporary, inermittent and emergency relief for families needing child care. In-home and group respite care are available. Wake County Health Department Child Service Coordination Provides free case management services to families fo children who are at risk for developmental or emotional disorders. Provides periodic developmental screenings, transportation and social support. Wake County MR/DD/SAS Provides information on obtaining additional assistance and care for your child up to 18 years old. Diet and PharmaceuticalsTriangle Compounding Pharmacy Compounded medications are prescriptions that are written by a physician, veterinarian or other legally authorized prescriber and prepared for an individual patient. They are prepared by a pharmacist to meet an individual's unique needs as determined by the prescriber. Compounded medications are necessary for a variety of reasons. Examples include: Provides support for those living with a GF/CF (Gluten Free/Casein Free) diet, celiac disease, food allergies or intolerances, environmental allergies or intolerances, chemical intolerances. Education and treatment optionsDevelopmental Evaluation Center (DEC) Assesses children from birth to five years old for developmental delays or disabilities at no charge. Mariposa
School Provides one-on-one instruction to children with autism. Mariposa works with speech and language, occupational, behavioral and educational therapists to tailor and oversee each student's program. Meredith

GRACE Provides therapeutic horseback riding, family recreation and relaxation for families dealing with autism. Helping Horse Provides a safe, supportive equestrian program for persons with disabilites. It is nationally affiliated. Raleigh Parks and Recration Special Populations
Division Provides recreational programs for Wake County youth with special needs. Includes aquatics and summer camps. YWCA - Oberlin Road Branch Provides Friday night fun events (dances, movies, bowling, etc.) for teens and adults with disabilities.
